Her most recent internship was with FreemanWhite in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rebekah is a former member of the East Carolina University Track and Cross Country teams. She enjoys reading, traveling and any outdoor activities. |

Chris Brooten
Chris graduated from Appalachian State University in May of 2009. He majored in Industrial Design with a concentration in Furniture Studies and received a minor in Business. Throughout college he spent his summers interning for Turner Construction and Midhattan Woodworking which are both located outside of NYC. He has been working full time with Turner Construction as an engineer or superintendent overseeing trades like architectural woodworking, furniture, wood floors, interior stone, and specialty floors. Because he is exposed to a lot of design, furniture, and woodworking in his current position, Chris tries to use his spare time to enjoy his hobby of designing and building custom furniture. |

Yanxin Chen
Yanxin graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2004 with a BFA degree and an emphasis in furniture design. Today, Yanxin works as a furniture designer for H. Thomas Keller & Assocs. LLC in High Point, NC. His goals include building relationships in business and increasing the creativity in his work. Yanxin credits the Celia Moh Scholarship with adding credibility to his professional abilities and with helping him to make strong connections in the furniture industry. |

Carrie Gillispie Cox
Carrie graduated from High Point University majoring in Furniture Marketing. She is currently a retail interior designer with Furniture Brands. She designs galleries, stores, and showrooms, including everything from the floor and paint to furniture and POP material. Carrie also does residential work on the side, partnering with a contractor for “turn-key” custom homes. She designs floor plans and interiors, and she acts as a homeowner liaison during the construction phase. She loves the retail sector of the furniture industry and has really found her niche there. |

Amy graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Interior Design. Following graduation she joined Lane Venture as a sales trainee and retail designer. Amy is currently the Upholstery Merchandiser for Lexington Home Brands where she is responsible for the creative development and implementation of all upholstery pieces for Lexington’s brands and collections. She loves to travel, research, and develop trends to present to dealers and consumers in a livable way. She married in 2008 and enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and depending on the season, mountain biking or skiing with her husband. |

A graduate of East Carolina University, Irina holds a summa cum laude degree in Interior Design and makes her home in New Bern, NC. After working for a furniture company in High Point, NC and commercial design firm in Greenville, NC, Irina is now the owner of a successful interior design business, ISK Design Group, LLC. Irina’s portfolio of design work includes many residential projects, as well as medical and business facilities. Irina continues her passion for furniture and product design and includes many custom-made interior components in her projects. |

Suzanne graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design in May, 2008 with a BFA degree and an emphasis in furniture design. Suzanne held an internship position with Paula Scott Unlimited, a Grand Rapids, MI. based product licensing firm for her senior year. Her work with Paula Scott Unlimited has given Suzanne a broad range of design skills including ceramics and lighting design, furniture design and rendering. In 2007 one of Suzanne’s designs was selected to appear in an exhibition of Kendall’s student designers at the Dubai International Office Furniture Show. Suzanne is excited to work in the furniture industry and brings real enthusiasm to each project. |
