Will Eatmon
Will Eatmon, from Smithfield, NC, is finishing his junior year at NC State where he is majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a concentration in Furniture Manufacturing and a minor in Statistics. Upon graduation, he has aspirations of working with a North Carolina furniture manufacturer and discovering how eCoupled technology might be used in the furniture world. Will enjoys spending his free time outdoors, especially on the water. |

Rebecca Gibson
Rebecca Gibson, a native of Hamilton, AL, is a rising senior at Mississippi State University majoring in Interior Design. Rebecca actively participates in Interior Design competitions at MSU where she is a member of the American Society of Interior Design as well as various honor societies including Phi Kappa Phi, Magna Cum Laude and Sigma Alpha Lambda. She recently received an internship with Flexsteel where she will be working closely with a furniture designer. Rebecca plans to pursue a career in commercial design upon graduating. Rebecca enjoys singing, playing sports and spending time with friends and family and she is actively involved with her church and Habitat for Humanity. |

Andrew Golombisky
In addition to being a Celia Moh Scholar, Andy was the first winner of the Distinction in Design furniture design competition which is allowing him to complete his final semester of college as an design intern with Theodore Alexander in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Following graduation in December 2010 from Kendall College of Art and Design, Andy will join Theodore Alexander as a full-time designer-in-residence. |

Brian Harris
Originally from Hershey, PA, Brian Harris moved to North Carolina in 2007 when he switched majors from Mechanical Engineering to Industrial Design. He has held a vice chair in the Appalachian State student IDSA chapter for the past two years and was recently elected as president of the club. Brian enjoys participating in design events, especially if they involve traveling and he looks forward to events such as Design Week NYC as he feels such events help make him a better designer. Brian enjoys riding motorcycles, restoring cars, meeting new people, traveling and experiencing new cultures, and taking part in video gaming industry development in his spare time. |

Jessica Henderson
With an eye towards becoming either a showroom designer or furniture designer, Jessica, a senior, is studying in the home furnishings program at High Point University. She enjoys swimming, playing soccer and rearranging her furniture. |

Trenton Huffines
Studying Industrial Design at North Carolina State University, Trent is concentrating on furniture designs that are economical and environmentally friendly. He serves as the marketing and interior design intern for the University’s distance education department, DELTA. An avid outdoorsman, Trent likes to backpack, camp, and hike as well as sail and surf. |

Meaghan Leonard
North Carolina-native Meaghan Leonard is a junior at High Point University majoring in Interior Design with a minor in Home Furnishings. She has interned for American Silk, JDouglas and Henredon Furniture and is active in the Interiors and Home Furnishings Club at HPU. Meaghan and several classmates developed this club into an organization through which they can gain hands-on experiences in the home furnishings industry. Meaghan’s favorite class at HPU is Merchandising because she enjoys the idea of creating a product line—she draws her inspiration from the shapes and details in nature. |

Joseph A. Sadony IV
Joseph A. Sadony IV is a senior at Kendall College of Art and Design where he continues to be active in the furniture club setting up tours and participating in events. Upon graduation, Joseph aspires to design for a freelance firm where he would welcome the opportunity to travel. He enjoys drawing, photography, being outdoors, biking, surfing and reading. |

Shannon Taylor
Winston-Salem, NC-native Shannon Taylor is double majoring in Home Furnishings and Marketing (and minoring in Interior Design) at High Point University. She expects to graduate in May 2012 and enter the furniture industry as a showroom manager or furniture sales rep. Shannon is a Presidential Scholar and works as a tutor in the Academic Services Center for Italian, French and Astronomy and is a sister of Phi Mu fraternity. She enjoys volunteering, reading, painting and spending time with her dog. |

Martha Gray Deans Wharton
After four years in the Marine Corps, Martha Gray Deans Wharton began studying interior design at East Carolina University. She was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society this year and is working on a research project studying the sense of place of Eastern Woodland North Carolina Natives. Martha would like to work in the home furnishings industry designing furnishings that are eclectic and modern and aspires to get her Masters Degree and become a professor of interior design at an accredited interior design program to share her passion with the next generation. She enjoys spending time with her son, playing music, being outdoors and practicing her woodworking and sewing skills. |
