Laurence Moh, a home furnishings industry leader and entrepreneur, established the Celia Moh Scholarship Fund in 2001 to honor his wife, Mrs. Celia Moh.

The scholarship's purpose is to recognize and nurture the academic endeavors of preeminent college students enrolled full-time in fields of study that would logically lead to careers in the home furnishings industry.

The Celia Moh Scholarships cover the cost of full-time tuition, fees, room, board and books for college sophomores, juniors and seniors at Appalachian State University, Catawba Valley Community College, East Carolina University, High Point University, Kendall College of Art & Design, Mississippi State University, North Carolina State University and Virginia Tech.

In addition to these forms candidates must have an official college transcript forwarded to the scholarship committee before the application deadline.

Deadline for Submission of Application

All application materials must arrive at the scholarship office no later than Friday, April 4th, 2008. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.

Notification

All applicants will receive a decision letter from the scholarship committee by Monday April 28, 2008. Those who receive scholarships will be asked to complete and return an Acceptance of Award letter no later than Monday, May 5, 2008.
